Growth in H-1B Visas
There has always been great focus applied to illegal immigration now more than ever so it seems. There should be more focus applied to foreign workers who are highly skilled. The US is restrictive on skilled foreign worker’s being allowed in with only 65,000 people per year gaining that essential H-1B visa.
Experts are saying there is a continued need to increase the number of H-1B Visas allocated if markets are to remain competitive in terms of technology and science. Foreign workers not only offer a great advantage to economies in terms of the work they can do but also their high levels of education are an important factor.
